Aleksandra Lemm (Polen, xxx) is an Amsterdam based choreographer, performer and dancer. In 2015 she graduated from the SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam. She graduated from the SNDO in Amsterdam in 2015. She operates on the boundary between visual art and performance. Using her body and numerous objects, Lemm creates powerful and tranquil images. She wants to stimulate the imagination and allow the viewer, just as with an abstract painting, to carefully observe time and discover new details.

With the support of ICK she previously created BLUE, which premiered during the ICKFEST 2018 and TIPPING POINT (2020).

With BLUE Aleksandra Lemm takes the audience into the experience of 'emptiness', a concept that fascinates her immensely. It's something that can escapes from meaning and representation. It can only be felt. By a simple gesture, letting go of the familiar, a personal history, an identity, fantasies and dreams, emptiness can be experienced.
