Holiday Dance
Dance project for children during the summer holidays
In the second week of the summer holidays, ICK Dans Amsterdam opens its doors for the young dance lovers (8-14 years old). In this week you will get to know a new way of dancing and make a short performance together with the other children and two dance teachers. From Monday to Friday from 10:00-13:00 you get dance lessons and you think about what the performance will look like.
During Holiday Dance you will be introduced to our Sensorium Toolkit: A special box with drawings, sounds, fragrances and materials to feel. Not showing and imitating, but let dance arise from the power of imagination. Let a scent move you, make your legs of cement and that image is something different for you than it is for me.
Do you love to dance and do you want to participate in a performance with other children in the new dance studios of ICK? Then join Holiday Dance at ICK Dans Amsterdam.
When: Monday 31 July – Friday 4 August

Costs: 5 days: €50 or with Stadspas: €10
