LABO 21

Methods for artistic creations

Labo21, the laboratory of the 21st century, is a platform for interdisciplinary research with three autonomous research projects on artistic methods in three European countries.

In 2012 and 2013 the ICK Academy was part of a network of four European research partners: Random Dance (United Kingdom), Badco (Croatia), Coventry University (United Kingdom) and Troubleyn (Belgium). The first Labo21 Salon was held in Amsterdam from 21 to 24 November 2012 and was hosted by ICK. The results of the research were shared in publications, tool releases, installations, performances and presentations.
