Over the past 20 years, ICK Amsterdam has built up a wealth of knowledge about the development of a dance method, dance(an)notation, documentation, knowledge transfer, (inter)national and interdisciplinary dance and talent development. We are happy to share that knowledge.

Our dance method Double Skin/Double Mind is included in the curriculum of the Amsterdam School of the Arts. At Codarts in Rotterdam, we share our knowledge with students in preparation for a possible placement in ICK Next, our junior company. We regularly organise lectures and workshops for dancers, dance teachers, choreographers, performance artists, and for study programmes: from BA to PhD level. There are also master classes, lectures, workshops and discourse sessions for ICK Artist Space artists, for the ICK Company and for ICK Next. We coach ICK Artist Space artists in deepening their movement vocabulary. Through dance notation and documentation, we challenge creators to get to the essence of their choreographic work and connect different dance languages, styles and techniques. In all disciplines, we support through SLATE: BLACK. ARTS. WORLD black makers in their careers.
